Hosted by Team GPG + Longshot Target Cameras
Step into the world of precision shooting with this exclusive ELR training event at White Oak Creek in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. Designed for both aspiring and experienced long-range shooters, this experience combines world-class instruction, real-world application, and a community of like-minded marksmen all pushing the limits of distance and accuracy.
You’ll train with Paul Phillips, King of 2 Mile (2019), and Clay Rhoden, King of 1 Mile (2022), who bring years of experience and a passion for teaching. From ballistics and gear setup to wind reading and live-fire drills out to one mile, every aspect of ELR shooting is covered. You’ll also use Longshot Target Cameras to receive real-time visual feedback, helping you dial in your technique with precision.
The event runs August 18–21, 2025, and costs $3,500, with a $500 non-refundable deposit required to secure your spot. The remaining balance is due by July 18. Included in your registration are all meals and housing for the duration of the event. The first five shooters to register will receive private rooms, while the rest will enjoy a comfortable stay in a spacious bunk house with plenty of room to unwind.
Rifles—including 6.5 Creedmoor setups—and limited ammo will be available on-site for those who need them. For participants looking to push beyond the standard training, we’re offering two optional add-ons: $600 for a 20-shot session at 2 miles (ammo included), and $350 to rent a fully prepped training rifle for the duration of the event (also includes ammo). These options are ideal for those who want to test gear at the extreme edge or don't yet have their own ELR-ready setup. Once your deposit is received, we’ll send a full itinerary and preparation guide to help you get the most out of the experience.
If you’re ready to challenge yourself, learn from some of the best, and experience what it’s like to shoot at extreme distances with professional-level support—this is your opportunity.

FAQ
Does it require cell service or Wi-Fi?
No. Longshot cameras create their own direct wireless connection between the camera and your device, so no cell service, hotspot, or internet connection is required at the range.
What devices work with the Longshot App?
The Longshot App works with most modern iOS and Android smartphones and tablets. Simply download the free app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to connect and view your target live.
How far from the target should the camera be placed?
For best results, position the camera roughly 10–15 feet behind and offset slightly to the side of the target.
Can I add additional cameras to the LR-3?
Yes. The LR-3 supports multiple cameras connected to a single receiver, allowing you to build multi-camera systems for viewing different targets or angles at the same time.
Can the Marksman be upgraded to the LR-3 later?
Yes. The Marksman can be upgraded to an LR-3 later, making it a great option for shooters who want a path to longer-range performance in the future.
