I purchased the Longshot LR-3 2 Mile UHD last year and it has been a game changer. Everything about this product from the shot blinker, grid overlay and group MOA features have revolutionized target shooting. The ability to completely shred a target and never lose your shot has saved countless trips back and forth to mark or cover rounds. Additionally, ammunition prices continue to rise and no longer losing a handful of shots on paper equals dollars saved. I 100% recommend the Longshot Target Camera to anyone who spends any amount of time at the range.

I’ve been using the Longshot Camera LR3 for the past four months, and it has proven to be an incredibly valuable tool.
Shooting at distances between 700 and 1,000 yards, the app provides a clear, detailed view of exactly where my shots land. It helps me gather DOPE (Data on Previous Engagements) much faster than I ever could with a traditional spotting scope. Spotting scopes often struggle with mirage and glare issues, depending on glass quality. In contrast, the Longshot camera and app deliver immediate visual feedback, allowing me to quickly adjust and improve my next shot.
A high-quality spotting scope can easily cost $2,000–$3,000, while this camera is only a fraction of that price—and in many situations, it performs even better.
I also appreciate that the app allows me to pinpoint previous shots with highlighted markers and capture screenshots to track and review my performance over time. That feature alone has been extremely helpful for refining my consistency.
This innovative tool definitely stands out at the range—most people haven’t even seen anything like it yet. I truly believe it has the potential to revolutionize how we track DOPE for both long-range and mid-range shooting.
Overall, this is an A+ product. Absolutely worth the price and the purchase.

You only need the Longshot camera system if you want to save time and take your shooting to the next level. It will not help you get girls or save money on car insurance, but it WILL make your range days more productive and provide you with your own personal close up seat to what's actually happening down range. I've used it from 100 to 600 yards so far with no issues whatsoever. I definitely plan to stretch it past 1,000 once the good weather comes back. I didn't think I needed it for 100 yards, but the last shot feature, and the ability to record a shot string to determine where each shot hit in order they were fired has been a game changer for ladder tests! The easiest way to find a node is to figure out which shots in the ladder test land close to each other. Longshot makes that very simple. Saves time and money.
