Sadly, a deflected .45ACP bullet impacted the back of my 3-year-old TargetVision camera. The bullet did not penetrate but made the unit inoperable.
My phone call to the factory demonstrated what customer service should be: friendly, helpful, offering options, & efficient. After receiving & repairing the camera, the technician called to ensure compatible frequencies and report the shipping. Friendly, professional support as it should be.
After receiving my restored camera that was as pretty-as-new, it was off to the Range. Log in - Check, Cellular Data Off - Check, Orient the camera & iPhone/iPad - Check but 'Camera feed failed' kept coming up. Ratts!
It took a few minutes to discover that my newly installed iPhone VPN was connected. Once the VPN was 'Not Connected', the TargetVision system was working perfectly again. Something else to add to the op checklist.
Very pleased with the whole process but hope to not need such a repair since I plan to do more to protect the camera from other shooters.
