Why did I wait so long?

This camera saves me time and reduces my frustration at the range. At my age of 69 looking thru a spotting scope at the 500-yard range is not as fast or easy as it used to be. This camera makes confirming and marking the POI a breeze.

Very cool Unit

Easy to use after you hook up to the right device. First time I left it hooked up to the camera instead of pairing with the receiver so lost a few shots. Still learning the system but very cool! I used it for an Archery shoot with family the other day at 55 yards and everyone loved it.

Ranger+ = Good Value

Shipping time was exceptional. Wifi setup seamless and picture quality is HD. Wasn't sure about the foldout leg support so set it up on a spare tripod for peace of mind. Overall I am extremely pleased with the Ranger+.

A focus ring on the camera would be an improvement however finding focus by positioning it was not difficult.

Randy's Ranger Review

Wanting a way to see my hits down range I started researching target cameras. I figured they would be a bit pricey but determined to find something suitable. Coming across Longshot was a blessing, many options and prices accordingly. I settled for the Ranger+ because I plan on most shots to under 1000 yards. My receiver had a dead battery, Longshot sent a new one. Downloaded the app on 2 different phones and was able to connect easily. Planning on a tablet soon for better vision of my view. Haven't used this in the field yet but am pleased with my system. RM
