Setting up on benches, often not in the best state of repair, creates the need for something to level the rest, and rear support. The adjustments are often beyond the travel of the front rest screws. Rear bags are fixed, and the need for a few inches of height in the rear, creates all sorts of weird inserts, and uncomfortable adaptations. I don't shoot well if my position is uncomfortable. The Longshot Bag Riser, gives me what I need to be comfortable with my shooting position. They're level, precise, and they provide the needed rear bag support for a comfortable position.
Improveing accuracy
A small but useful addition to my shooting bench that allows for greater flexibility in the use of the rear bag.
My only suggestions:
- If the blocks were two sided, ie: a male and female side on each riser, instead of a male block and a female
block, it would allow you to stack higher than two.
- The "gripper" material would be more user friendly if it were rubberized instead of rough skateboard tape.
Still a good product.
